A Bit About Me
With a thirty-year career in corporate learning and organizational effectiveness, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with behavioral change and process improvement. With a B.A. in English and B.S. in Education, I have authored and trained more than 500 courses. I am an expert at assessing systems, tweaking broken processes, and establishing best practices. With my ‘there’s got to be a better way to do this’ determination, I lead my professional teams with vigor and intention.
I LOVE what I do! As an inspirational leader with contagious energy, I connect with all levels of an organization—from frontline teammates to executives—meeting them where they are and challenging them to learn and grow in an engaging, relatable, storytelling-driven environment. Whether implementing a new application, adopting a revised office policy, or transforming a culture, I’m all in.
I thrive in all phases of the learning and development (L&D) process, from gathering requirements, assessing needs, identifying gaps, planning projects, designing and developing learning materials, to evaluating mastery and conducting after-action reviews.
With companies like Acme Brick, HOYA Vision Care, and Alliance Consumer Group, I’ve strategized, collaborated, and built learning programs from the ground up. From selecting vendors for Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deploying curated and custom content, I roll up my sleeves, partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and build world-class learning academies.
As a learning consultant with Raytheon Professional Services, LLC (an outsourced training solutions provider for clients like General Motors, Baptist Healthcare, and Harley Davidson), I authored proposals ranging from $50,000 to $1M and oversaw learning projects from analysis to evaluation. Upon award of the project, I led a high-performing team of instructional systems developers, delivering innovative and instructionally sound learning solutions such as video vignettes, micro-learnings, scenario-based case studies, and simulations, all while balancing resources and maintaining 98% billable time.
